We are delighted to have been able to purchase this colt from Inglis Premier and believe he may be the diamond in the rough we are always looking for. This colt by Impending is a half-brother to Gr.1 winner Tuvalu, winner of the Toorak Hcap Gr.1 and placegetter in the Cantala Stakes Gr.1 & Sir Rupert Clarke Stakes Gr.1. Tuvalu is one of the best performed horses currently racing here in Australia with earnings closing in on $2 Million. 

Impending was a star on the track and raced in the Godolphin Blue, winning the Stradbroke Hcap Gr.1 and the Kingsford Smith Stakes Gr.1 along with multiple placings in all the major Gr.1 sprint races here in Australia. His oldest progeny are 3yo's and this season he has had 21 individual winners and one of his best Impendabelle a Gr.2 winner in NZ who, like our colt is out of an Exceed N' Excel Mare.

We think this horse ticks a lot of boxes, being a sibling to a Gr.1 winner and we know the Impending - Exceed N' Excel cross is already very successful. Add to that the fact that this colt is Super Vobis and Vobis Gold eligible and we are sure we are onto a winner. The fact that this colt can race for the millions of dollars on offer through the Super Vobis scheme and also being by a Victorian Sire makes him very appealing at this price range.

Tony was caught by surprise when he passed in as he had valued him at a much higher price on inspection and subsequently didn't bid when the horse entered the sale ring. Tony didn't delay in meeting with the vendor afterwards to close the deal and is very pleased to have secured the colt for the stable.

This horse was clean on X Ray examination and has scoped clean as a whistle and Tony's comments on the horse can be heard in the attached video from sale day. He is a fluent walker with nice girth and shoulder and if picking a negative, one would say he is a little weak behind the saddle. As a late October foal, he will continue to develop physically and grow into a really nice type.

We expect this fellow to be very popular and as always first in best dressed.
